Salam Aidilfitri 1427H

On behalf of Mommy, Daddy and Wesley, Ayrah would like to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri 1427H. This year, our family are in Brunei celebrating the first day of Raya. And on the fourth day of Raya, we will be travelling to KL, spending one whole week there. Let's just say that some family members on Daddy's side haven't seen me in person yet. Hope they are nice and will give me loads of duit raya too..... hehehe.....

Sincerely,
Ayrah

p/s : I will turn 8 months old tomorrow..... yay!

Heidelberg, Germany

Had some time last Sunday to take a train journey to Heidelberg, arguably one of the oldest town in Germany. Situated between Frankfurt and Stuttgart, it is only 1 1/2 hour from Frankfurt am Main Hauptbanhoft and cost EUR 32 for 5 persons return.

Am now relaxing at the Executive Lounge in Frankfurt Flughafen, waiting for my flight back to KL. So might as well post the pictures from the trip to Heidelberg.....

Frankfurt part II

Hauptwache - the ultimate shopping area in Frankfurt

Eschenheimer Tor - part of the old defensive walls around Frankfurt

City of Frankfurt - a mix of old & new buildings
Guten morgen!
I'm supposed to have a wrap-up meeting this morning at 9am with the German engineers over here, but it is now postponed to 1pm. And I thought "Janji Melayu" was bad..... "Janji German" is even worse!
Well, to maximise my time, here's some more pics of Frankfurt...enjoy!
Danke Schon!

The bathroom (check out the sink!)

Arrived in Frankfurt on Monday morning after a 12+ hour flight. And 45 minutes later, here I am in my swanky and ultra-modern apartment right in the middle of the city.

Will post more pics later, now gotta get ready to go to work.....

Deutscheland here I go!

One interesting fact : ever since I joined this company way back in 2000, I'm always away from KL during Ramadhan. Mind you, not to escape from fasting, but on work purposes.

This year is no exception : I'm flying off to Deutscheland (that's Germany in, well, German language). Their national anthem is, dare I say it, very familiar especially for those who like watching F1 and football. Most famous German? I would say Micheal Schumacher of course, who has announced his retirement at the end of this season. Oohh, I hope he wins his 8th driver's crown this weekend at Suzuka!

Anyway, I'll be in Frankfurt for 2 weeks, and will be back by Aidilfitri. Hopefully I can post some pics of my trip here (but first, I need to grab that Sony DSC-T10 before flying off - otherwise no pics!)
