Aloha!

I got these in my mail yesterday.....

Francis & Erin's wedding invitation in Hawaii!!!!!

Francis Tsang Jr. is a very good friend of mine. We share an office together for 3 months during my stint in Houston, USA last year. He's madly into cars (like me, but much more), and is a very good photographer. He also has a cool ride (Infiniti G35 Coupe, black), in which I've taken couple of rides (but alas, I didn't drive it). Check out his site at www.houston-imports.com, where he posts great shots of modded rides in Houston.

Both him and his girl Erin Tanji has been visiting us (my wife, Wesley and I) at our apartment in Maroneal for my wife's delicious home-cooked Brunei-Malaysian cuisine. And before we left Houston, we paid a visit at their beautiful dig in Ann St., where the pictures below are taken.

Anyway, both Francis and Erin are getting married in Hawaii, USA on 25th of March. Thanks for the invite guys! Unfortunately, we have to decline (with a heavy heart). Hope you guys will have a wonderful life together and take care!

(p/s : Francis - hope you got my voice message to your cell yesterday)

V-Day

A full moon, by the beach, on Valentine's Day in Kuantan.
If only my love was here with me...... *sigh*

It's amazing how Murphy's Law keep cropping up, even when you thought nothing could go wrong.....

This day every year, I would send a bouquet of red roses to my beloved significant other, not because I subscibe to the notion of celebrating Valentine's Day, but I feel that everyone should show our love, affection and appreciation whenever possible (and hopefully not confined to a single day in a year too!). It doesn't have to be something expensive - as they say, it's the thought that counts. (but if you can afford it - hey, why not?)

So, I've arranged for the bouquet to be delivered today. And you know what? The delivery guy was not familiar with the address, and ended up calling my beloved wife yesterday for directions. What a dork! Look it up in a map or something! That totally spoils the surprise element! Oh well.....

Take a break..... and keep your sanity intact!

It's always a good idea to take a break from work once in a while, at least to keep your sanity intact (for the time being, hopefully!).

Had a nice weeklong break with the family in Brunei last week..... unfortunately, I was not feeling well for a couple of days, thanks to some dodgy breaded mushrooms from an eatery there..... I can't even bring myself to eat without either throwing up or frequently visiting the loo every now and then afterwards..... what a way to spend your days off..... *sigh*

Anyway, back to work (in Kuantan, again!) until my next long break in 3 to 4 weeks' time..... well, at least I'm now eligible for a complimentary upgrade to Regency Club rooms @ Hyatt until Feb 2007..... with free Continental breakfast + hors d'ouevres in the evening..... yum!!!

(p/s : To Maria & Nazry, congratulations on your upcoming wedding on March 11th. Finally!!!)
